What is my local calling area? This depends on the area code of your TalkParade phone number. Remember, you will be able to use your existing phone number or we can provide you with a new phone number that starts with the area code of your choice. For example, if your TalkParade phone number starts with area code 646 then outgoing calls to the 646 area code would be local. If you took the TalkParade Phone Adaptor to Florida, calls to the 646 area code would still be considered local. In other words, your physical location does not matter when determining what calls are considered local. What matters is what area code your TalkParade phone is setup to use.
